Drawing from Life is a 10week course led by Phil Goss. The course will explore new ways of drawing from observation. Each session will focus on a different aspect of drawing such as mark making, composition, colour, texture and more.

During the course you will experiment with processes that will help unlock new methods of depicting the figure in interesting and original ways. We will use different exercises and materials to expand our personal drawing language.

Each week we will be working with a life model, the sessions will be a mixture of short poses, experiments and also a chance to make some longer studies. Materials will include charcoal, pastels, watercolour, screen-printing, pen and ink mono printing and collage.

Sessions will take place in the drawing studio and in the garden (weather permitting).

All materials costs are included. Size restrictions apply. This course is suitable for those with little to no experience of drawing/painting.
