The Jobs Market - Camden Art Centre

An events programme and impromptu market stall of literature, music and multiples

Susan Finlay’s The Lives of the Artists and Sally O’Reilly’s Help in Cucumbers (both JOAN, 2023) explore the often awful, hilarious, and unexpected jobs that artists undertake to pay the bills. To celebrate the launch of these titles, the authors and their publisher have organised an events programme and impromptu market stall of literature, music and multiples that also explore the themes of artists’ day jobs and alternative economies.

Featuring performances, readings and screenings from Sean Ashton, Anat Ben David, Amber Husain, Morgan Quaintance, and The Something Puffs, with additional books and multiples provided by Emma Hart and Cosey Fanni Tutti.
