Bar Bicicletta, our in-house Café, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am.

Situated in a secret garden in the heart of Hampstead, Bar Bicicletta serves a seasonal range of dishes, from organic breakfast items, light lunches and small plates of Italian inspired food. Founded from a partnership between two lifelong friends, Bar Bicicletta aims to bring the mellow Venetian styles of living and eating to Hampstead. The founders of Bar Bicicletta have a history of working in some of the most exemplary establishments in the world, from Soho House to The Ivy, quality dining is at the forefront of their mission. Infused with an Italian passion for food, drink and good company, Bar Bicicletta’s founders wished to transport their visitors to an Italian deli loaded with wines, delicate dishes and desserts. Speciality coffees, teas and pastries are available to enjoy throughout the day. From the afternoon, visitors can enjoy a range of fresh wines, beers on tap and specially mixed cocktails.

Our daylight-flooded café is framed by a secluded garden and terrace, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating all year round. From Thursday to Sunday, Bar Bicicletta is open until 9pm, to allow visitors to enjoy a later supper and drink. Bar Bicicletta works exclusively with responsible suppliers of organic and ethical produce. All food served is freshly cooked in-house each morning. Operating with an ever-changing seasonal menu, Bar Bicicletta’s chef’s aim is to consistently serve delicious family friendly plates and snacks. All pastries served are gluten free, and much of the rotating menu is vegan and vegetarian yet served at reasonable rates.

Serving coffee supplied by Dark Woods Coffee (a certified B-Corp company) alongside single-batch tea from Lalani, Bar Bicicletta only serves drinks from environmentally responsible companies. With a focus on natural and interesting wines, Bar Bicicletta stocks a range of fresh and naturally delicious vino. With an additional outdoor bar with beer on tap, Bar Bicicletta have partnered with Pillars Brewery, an independent company from Walthamstow, who provide organic and gluten free beer. Bar Bicicletta takes the Italian love of evening cocktails by mixing their own each night, a regular favorite being the classic Aperol Spritz, served with a twist in a half-pint glass.
