For our 60th anniversary, we are celebrating Camden Art Centre with a digital project exploring our rich history on Arkwright Road.
Over six weeks, we will take a look back at our activity from our early years in the 1960s to the present day, noting significant exhibitions, residencies, events and learning programmes.
In 1994, Veronica Ryan was in residence with us, which led to the exhibition ‘Compartments/Apart-ments’ in 1995. 30 years later, we invited Ryan to visit Camden Art Centre and the spaces which worked and exhibited in. Ryan sat down with Arese Uwuoruya, our Assistant Exhibitions Curator to talk about her memories of Camden Art Centre for the third week of our digital project.
