Nicola L. I Am The Last Woman Object has been published on the occasion of the First European survey of Nicola L. which opened at Camden Art Centre last year and is now traveling across France, Austria and Italy.
A selection of Nicola’s films will be screened and Martin Clark, Gina Buenfeld-Murley and Arese Uwuoruya will discuss major bodies of work and reflect on Nicola L.’s remarkable and lifelong commitment to art, creativity, and radical subversion – a practice that straddled many movements and styles in twentieth-century art but resolutely defied categorisation.
