Camilla Wills - Camden Art Centre

Camilla Wills

Camilla Wills is an artist and publisher living in Brussels. The divergent materials and thinking in her work are held by a practice of editing. Editing is used as a mask not to conceal but to amplify an inverted structure that sits beneath what is shown. For Wills, splitting, doubling and insight are interconnected.

During the residency, she produced silkscreened and written work, in reflexive forms that look at processes of justification, omission and facing.

Collaborative and solo presentations include Gaudel de Stampa, Paris (2018); Montague, London (2018); Chapter NY, New York (2017); Tonus, Paris (2017); Kunsthal Aarhus, DK (2016). Her writing has recently been published by Girls Like Us, May Revue, and Immixtion press (Marseille).
