The Artists

Gaister is the encounter between experimental soprano Olivia Salvadori, producer and songwriter Coby Sey and drummer Akihide Monna. The collaboration started in 2019 on occasion of the London based event series “Exercises on displacement” curated by art collective Tutto Questo Sentire. Gaister reinforces a common predisposition that goes beyond any different experience, language, musical background of the three artists towards an intuitive approach where sound, voice and words are free to emerge between a conceptual structure and improvisation. Their first upcoming album was recorded at Greenhouse studios in Reykjavik during August 2022 and was conceived as a unique piece; a series of movements following the disposition to be “in a state of listening”.

Ghostlore of Britain perform musical vibrations and meditations to break through the veiling power of Maya and self-perpetuating control mechanisms. Through subtle esoteric technology and words of worship they seek to reveal the divine spark within.

Their work spans the realms of folk, drone, and U.K dance music, melding recognisable motifs of dub, techno, and drum ‘n’ bass with choral vocals. Projected films accompany their live performances as activated devices of (dis)orientation.

Their investigations and experiences across the psychic and embodied landscape in the South of England informed the basis of their music and films, which generated their debut mixtape with Ormside Projects radio from which The Changing of the Guard EP was released in 2021.

Ghostlore of Britain are Kieron Livingstone & Sarah Rosamond Hartnett.

Nik Colk Void is an electronic musician and artist with a vast reputation in experimental shapeshifting and collaboration. Void’s interests lie in the unconventional encounters with her tools, both analogue and digital, as a means of expression. Her key instruments are voice, guitar, and modular euro-rack systems engaging in a new language using extended technique and cut-up sampling through synthesis. As a result, the blends of her compositional tracks lean towards techno, club, experimental and noise.

UK based, Void has produced eight acclaimed studio albums with her musical groups Factory Floor (Gabriel Gurnsey & Dominic Butler), Carter Tutti Void (Chris Carter & Cosey Fanni Tutti) and NPVR with the late Peter Rehberg, releasing via Mute, DFA, Blast First, Editions Mego and Industrial.
