Newcontemporaries98 presented a refreshingly diverse selection of work by 34 artists, all of whom had recently undertaken undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a UK art college.
The works selected by artists Phyllida Barlow and Christine Hohenbuchler, curator Eddie Berg and critic Adrian Searle, offer a wide range of insights into the complexities of modern living and display an intensity of engagement with the activity of making art.
