These works challenge conventional storylines and aesthetic expectations, emerging from curiosity, experimentation, and lived experience—inviting audiences to engage more closely with varied and alternative approaches to documenting life. Prioritising intimacy, connection, and everyday perspectives over institutional or art-historical frameworks, they form part of a wider tradition of self-documentation and archiving. In doing so, they highlight the importance of spaces where people come together to share ideas, conversations, and creative processes.

In this context, documentation is shaped by association and experience, exploring how cultural memory can be constructed and evidenced through personal records of places, people, and rhythms that might otherwise be overlooked or unheard.

These videos were shown as part of a live screening event on 3 May 2025 at Camden Art Centre.
