This exhibition marked the culmination of Katie Cuddon’s Fellowship with a selection of works made over its duration
The work forms part of her ongoing investigations into clay’s facility for conveying raw expression through the directness with which it can be manipulated. Cuddon has used her time to develop the use of ceramic colouring methods as well as examining the complex relationship between the image and object, mark-making and the surface of the built clay sculptures she creates.
Katie Cuddon was the winner of Camden Arts Centre’s inaugural Ceramics Fellowship.
