Teachers' Workshop & Exhibition Tour - Camden Art Centre

Teachers’ Workshop & Exhibition Tour

Wednesday 4 February
5.00 – 6.00pm

A chance to look at the João Maria Gusmão and Pedro Paiva and Ruth Ewan exhibitions and the new teachers' guide with Camden Arts Centre's Education and Exhibitions teams and artist Ruth Ewan.

Camden Arts Centre produces a teachers’ guide for each exhibition, available as soon as the exhibition commences. The guide contains activities for students at Key Stage levels 1 – 4 and for SEN students and is offered as a way for school groups to come into the galleries independently.

School groups can hire the Drawing Studio free of charge and can be given a short introductory tour by a member of the Education team when requested in advance. Additionally, we offer bookable workshops for schools, in creative learning and ceramics. Please contact Caroline Moore for more information and to book.

EXHIBITIONS INFORMATION
Portuguese artists João Maria Gusmão and Pedro Paiva present a magical, immersive film installation for their first major show in London. Each film examines a particular subject – a treatise on material, animal or human behaviour that probes at the nature of truth and perception. London-based artist Ruth Ewan brings to life the French Republican Calendar in a new work made for Camden Arts Centre’s Gallery 3.

The space is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us if you have additional access requirements.
