For our 60th anniversary, we are celebrating Camden Art Centre with a digital project exploring our rich history on Arkwright Road.
Over six weeks, we will take a look back at our activity from our early years in the 1960s to the present day, noting significant exhibitions, residencies, events and learning programmes.
For week one, we are highlighting our 1969 exhibition Contemporary African Art, which featured artists Kamala Ibrahim Ishag, Valente Malangatana, Ibrahim El Salahi, Skunder Boghossian, Vincent Kofi, Twins Seven-Seven and Muraina Oyelam.
