7 week course: Drawing the figure - Camden Art Centre

Unlock new methods of depicting the figure in this 7 week life drawing course.

Drawing the Figure is a 7 week course led by Phil Goss. The course will be a variation on traditional life drawing, exploring processes that will help unlock new methods of depicting the figure in interesting and original ways.

Over the 7 weeks we will aim to develop the possibilities of how we see and depict a figure, whilst simultaneously looking to expand our individual drawing language.

Each session will focus on an aspect of drawing such as composition, space, texture and colour. The sessions will involve experiments in mark making, mono printing, collage and many more processes. Materials will include charcoal, ink, pastels, screen-printing and pens.
