with support from GOMID and Death Is Not The End (DJ)
Join Lonnie Holley, the renowned U.S.-based multidisciplinary artist, for a live performance with fellow American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sam Amidon. Together, they will perform a range of music that aligns with Holley’s new exhibition at the Camden Art Centre. Supporting Holley will be GOMID, a duo consisting of a Nigerian gothic vocalist and a British post-industrial ambience producer. For this performance, they will be joined by Gibrana Cervantes, an experimental violinist with classical and metal influences. They will be accompanied by Death Is Not The End (DINTE), also known as Luke Owen, who will DJ throughout the evening. He will draw from his record label, known for uncovering and illuminating archival music and field recordings, focusing on early gospel, global folk music, Soundsystem tapes, and various other audio curiosities.
Our galleries will be open until 9pm on this day. We invite you to visit Lonnie Holley’s new exhibition ‘All Rendered Truth’ that opens at Camden Art Centre on 5 July.
Garden Nights is a seasonal programme of multi-disciplinary live events at Camden Art Centre’s Garden.
