Public Knowledge: The M!ss!ng L!nk: A celebration of the life and work of Barney Bubbles

Barney Bubbles is the missing link between pop and culture’ Peter Saville.

To mark the publication of monograph/biography The Wild World of Barney Bubbles, Camden Art Centre will celebrate the life of the late artist and designer whose arresting body of work continues to influence graphic communications and contemporary practitioners.

Presenting original artworks, music, DJ sets and films, the evening will include an in-conversation between author Paul Gorman and artist The Fandangoe Kid on aspects of the designer’s career including the interrelationship between mental health and creativity/creativity as catharsis.

The Wild World of Barney Bubbles by Paul Gorman, with contributions from Billy Bragg, Art Chantry, Clarita Hinojosa and Peter Saville, is published by Thames & Hudson in June 2022.
