Inspired by Suarluni / nôkosit / coming into view, 2025, a new commission by Grey Plumes in akâmi-, participants will be encouraged to craft a vessel to ‘hold’ a memory, artwork, or meaningful object. This workshop will be facilitated by Ewelina Bartkowska.
Ewelina Bartkowska is a London-based artist who graduated with a BA Honours in Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martins in 2019. Her recent group exhibitions include Museo della Ceramica di Savona, CORNER7, and the Royal Horticultural Society. Ewelina explores the transformative power of raw materials and values the meditative quality of collaborative making. Her practice emphasizes shared experiences, sensuality, and intimacy in working with clay, engaging diverse communities in performative art. Committed to sustainability, she adopts once-firing techniques to reduce her carbon footprint. Currently, she works at Rochester Square as an artist, technician, and educator.
