Salary: c. £36,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours/Days of work: Tuesday – Saturday (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 10.30 am-6.30 pm, Thursday 1.30-9.30pm)

Camden Art Centre is recruiting for an Administration and Personnel Manager. Working closely with the Deputy Director and other key staff to ensure that the right systems and structures are in place to maintain Camden Art Centre’s role as a leading organisation within the sector with high standards across all areas of operation.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a complex administrative role and have excellent HR, people and team leading skills.

Development Manager

Salary: c. £36,000 depending on experience

Hours/Days of work: Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm

Camden Art Centre seeks a dynamic Development Manager, who will be responsible for raising essential funds to support the Gallery’s internationally renowned artist-led exhibitions, learning and residency programmes.

With demonstrable experience of individual giving and event delivery, the Development Manager will lead on the delivery and growth of a renowned and popular Patrons’ scheme, ensuring excellent stewardship and developing a pipeline of prospects and donors. Working closely with the Head of Development, they will also provide important support with wider individual and major giving programmes, including a new US Friends scheme and the Emerging Artist Prize at Frieze. 

They will play a critical role in Development events, leading on a diverse Patrons’ programme and Camden Art Centre’s annual fundraising events portfolio, including our flagship Artist for Artists Gala.

The Development Manager – Individual Giving & Events will join Camden Art Centre’s energetic and newly configured Development team at an exciting time of growth, as we look to further develop our philanthropic income. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to take the next step in their career.

Our Development Manager will be motivated by working towards ambitious income targets, be a natural communicator, confident in representing the Centre externally and facilitating relationships with senior level stakeholders, and have a demonstrable interest and understanding of the current funding context for arts and culture.
