Family Artist-in-Residence: Nicole Morris

Taking up residence in the Drawing Studio, artist Nicole Morris developed environments and activities for families inspired by Joachim Koester’s exhibition In the Face of Overwhelming Forces for the Studio Takeover programme.

Nicole makes work in video and sculpture. Central to her practice is the exploration of how spaces are navigated. Objects and films are approached as both durational and tactile, creating a discourse between filmic space and the actual space of viewing. Recent solo exhibitions include The National Gallery, Prague (2016) and a forthcoming show at Space In Between, London (2017).
